How to reach us

The Tech Imperatives team operates on one belief: technology strategy decisions deserve sharper thinking, not louder noise. Whether you're a reader with a question, a contributor with a perspective, or a business with a partnership inquiry, we want to hear from you.

We respond to all substantive inquiries within 2 business days.

What we cover, and who we talk to

Editorial inquiries

Tech Imperatives covers technology strategy, enterprise priorities, and the decisions that shape how organizations deploy, adopt, and govern technology. If you have a story tip, data set, or case study worth examining, our editorial team reviews every submission.

We are particularly interested in primary research, real-world implementation data, and perspectives from practitioners, not vendor talking points. Pitches that include measurable outcomes get prioritized.

Contributor submissions

We publish analysis from technology leaders, independent researchers, and domain specialists. Contributor pieces run between 900 and 1,400 words and must reflect firsthand expertise or original insight.

Before submitting a full draft, send a 3-sentence pitch outlining your argument, your evidence, and your credentials. This saves time on both sides and improves the chance of a productive conversation.

Business and partnership inquiries

If you represent a technology vendor, research firm, or services organization, we offer several structured ways to work together, including sponsored analysis, newsletter integrations, and research collaborations. All commercial content is clearly labeled.

We do not accept generic press releases or product announcements without editorial context. If your pitch explains why the story matters to a technology strategist in 2025, it has a better chance of landing.

Why the right contact channel matters

Sending the right message to the right channel speeds up response time. A partnership inquiry buried in a reader feedback form can sit unread for days. An editorial pitch sent to a business development address gets deprioritized by default.

Use the contact form below and select the category that best matches your inquiry. This single step routes your message to the right person on the first pass.

Response time commitments

Inquiry typeTarget response time
Reader questions3–5 business days
Editorial pitches2–3 business days
Contributor submissions5–7 business days
Partnership inquiries1–2 business days

These are working targets, not guarantees. Volume spikes, especially following major technology events, can extend timelines by 48–72 hours.

What to include in your message

Vague messages create friction. A strong inquiry includes a clear subject line, a one-paragraph summary of what you need, any relevant context or links, and your preferred contact method.

For reader questions

If you're asking about a specific article, include the headline or URL. If you're asking about a broader topic we haven't covered, explain why it matters to your work or organization. The more specific you are, the more useful our response will be.

For pitch and submission inquiries

Include your name, your current role, and a direct link to at least one piece of published work. Anonymous or credential-free pitches are not reviewed. That's a baseline standard, not a gatekeeping exercise.

If you're proposing an analysis based on proprietary data, note whether the data can be referenced publicly or must remain anonymized. This affects the editorial process.

For partnership and advertising inquiries

Include your organization name, a brief description of your product or service, your target audience within our readership, and your campaign timeline. Budget ranges are helpful but not required at the initial stage.

We prioritize partnerships that align with the interests of technology strategists, CIOs, and senior enterprise decision-makers. Misaligned pitches are declined quickly, which is efficient for everyone.

Our editorial standards

Tech Imperatives does not accept payment to alter editorial positions. Sponsored content sits in a separate, clearly marked category from editorial content. This distinction is non-negotiable.

We cite sources, link to primary data where available, and correct factual errors promptly. If you believe we have published something inaccurate, use the contact form with the subject line "Correction Request" and include the specific claim and your supporting evidence.

We investigate every correction request. Response time for corrections is typically within 24 hours of receipt.

Mailing address and legal notices

For formal correspondence, legal inquiries, or DMCA notices, written mail is the appropriate channel. Digital contact forms are not suitable for legal communications that require documented receipt.

Legal notices should be addressed to the editorial and operations team at the registered business address listed in our terms of service. DMCA takedown requests must include all elements required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to be processed.

A note on response quality

We would rather send one useful reply than three that don't answer your actual question. Our team reads every message, but volume means we can't engage with every inquiry at the same depth.

Pitches that are clearly researched, specific, and matched to what Tech Imperatives actually covers get the fastest and most substantive responses. That's not a preference, it's an observable pattern in how editorial workflows function.
