Use The Print Screen Button
You can use the Print Screen Button to capture a screenshot on Windows 10 or 11. The Print Screen key is one of the keys at the top row of your keyboard. This is by far the simplest method to take a shot of your screen.
For full screen capture, tap the “PrtScn” key on the top right corner of your keyboard. This action will capture the entire screen and copy paste it to your clipboard. You can then save the file or paste the screenshot on any other program that allows for image insertion, such as Microsoft Word or Paint.

Another way to take screenshots is to paste them. You can do this on Windows 11. Simply press the PrtScn key to save a screenshot on your computer's screenshot folder. This folder is located in the pictures sections or OneDrive if it is enabled.

You can also take a screenshot on Windows 10/11 by combining the Windows and Print Screen keys. This saves files automatically. Simply press the Windows key + PrtScn. There is a snipping tool on Windows 10, but it is not very reliable for clear screenshots, but the one for Windows 11 works just fine. Windows 11 snipping tool has been massively upgraded to have customs features that the Windows 10 version does not have.
The snipping tool is activated by clicking Windows key + Shift + S. Once you tap all three keys, your screen will dim, and the toolbar will appear at the screen top with different image options such as full screen, rectangular, free form, or full window.
